I Fight…

I fight for freedom,
I die for my country.
I am trained to kill,
My hands are a weapon,
My gun is an extension of my arm.
I go on day by day, your picture by my heart,
You are the only thing that keeps me alive,
And the only thing that wakes me up in the morning.
I know what I must do,
I must fight to see your face again,
And to feel your touch and kiss your lips and hold you in my arms.
You inspire me to fight on yet you take my breath away,
I gasp for air, trying to bring life back into my lungs.
Killing is what I am trained to do but loving you is something I was born to do.

Make Me Smile

The only one who can make me smile when i frown is by my side face down…
One minute without you is like 5 years a million miles apart…
A million miles a part is further then we should ever split…
Take my hand and we’ll turn around our frowns…
Lets out run darkness and find the light…
Lets run until running is no fun…
Open your eyes and see the road we are on…
Open them and see we were always meant to be

The World as we see it, is not what it truly looks like…
Secrets & lies hidden behind smiles, the truth is absent…
Lies of emotion, appearence & self being,
A world led by lies with no sign of stopping,
Perfection is impossible, yet, we are told nothing is impossible…
Obviously no one has tried slamming a revolving door shut,
Where does this leave us? …
Nations held together by secrecy, lives built on lies…
A world built on imperfection, set on finding perfection.
